Why do we love flowers?
A flower in bloom is one of the most beautiful sights in the world.
These beautiful flower quotes teach you about life. They remind you to stop and be thankful for the blessings in your life while they are here.
They also give an example of sacrifice. A flower dies to make way for new growth.
If even a flower is full of wisdom, we can learn something from everyone.

Edelweiss Flower Meaning
Edelweiss, meaning “white and noble,” is a small white flower that grows primarily in the Alps of Austria and Switzerland.
The song “Edelweiss” was written for the musical “The Sound of Music,” which was sung by Christopher Plummer and the von Trapp family.
This song is a statement of Austrian patriotism representing the Captain’s resistance to the pressure to join the Nazi Navy. It also serves as the family’s goodbye to Austria before they escape the Nazis.
Captain Von Trap is mourning the loss of his country by singing about the flower found all over Austria and represents life there as they know it.
Edelweiss was chosen as the song written by Robin Spielberg, Richard Rodgers, and Oscar Hammerstein Ii because, despite its small size, it was strong enough to survive the Nazi invasion.
This inspiring song and flower give hope to everyone pressured by the world’s problems.
Poison Makes Weeds Stronger
Weeds adapt to poison, so you need to use more and more to kill them. Thus, weeds become a bigger problem and take more of our attention.
While our flowers either wither from neglect or become the target of our poisons.
Only a fraction of the poison meant for weeds reaches the intended target. The rest runs into the environment and enters the air, water, and food supply.
Everything is connected. Pesticides and herbicides target life, but we all live what we do for one person. You do for everyone, including yourself. Who are we to say what a weed is? And why should we let our “weeds” take our eyes off the flowers?
Worry is like poison. It will make your problems stronger and kill your blessings. You are essentially planting more weeds. Learn to ignore them because life is short. Enjoy the flowers before they are gone.
Water the Flowers
“Water the flowers, ignore the weeds.”
Life is full of flowers, but most people focus on the weeds. You can spend your whole life trying to remove the weeds.
Sometimes, this is necessary, but we should not neglect our blessings because of a few weeds in our or our neighbor’s garden. You make room for a new weed when you pull up a weed. Instead, plant more flowers and let them grow.
